Description:
Next Generation Children's Centers has developed age-specific curriculum formats and standards from Infant through Kindergarten programs. These formats encourage variety, small grouping and a guarantee that your child's day will be packed with activities according to their age group's abilities.
Infant Program
Our Infant program provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the littlest ones in our care. This specially designed setting, along with our caring teachers, will work cooperatively with you to nurture your baby through all their early stages of development. We provide continuity of care between your home and our classrooms by partnering with parents and developing a strong understanding of each child's individual needs.
Toddler Program
Toddlerhood is an exciting stage in your child's development. It is a time when language, social, physical and cognitive skills begin to flourish. Toddlers are learning during every moment of their day, using all of their senses to explore. Based on our extensive experience of what these young explorers are learning, NGCC has created I Can Do It! and I Can Do It 2! This exclusive program provides a comprehensive hands-on, multi-sensory approach to our curriculum.
Pre-school Program -- Age 3
Next Generation designed and developed our own Preschool 3 curriculum geared especially to meet the needs of our youngest preschool children. Building on the social skills emphasized in our I Can Do It! Toddler Program, our mascot, Tucker the Turtle, helps our three year-olds learn about problem solving, friendships and healthy bodies. Your child will be immersed in daily language, math and science activities. Look At Me's proprietary program builds your child's self-confidence within a group setting, helping them to succeed academically and socially. The program also provides an academic foundation that prepares children for their later learning in the areas of literacy and math, bridging learning to our Preschool 4, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs.
Pre-school Program -- Age 4
Your child will engage in a new learning experience in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom: They will meet many new friends such as Mr. N with his Noisy Nose and Ms. A who always 'AH-CHOOS'! These friends come from our core curriculum program called Let's Begin With The Letter People. This comprehensive curriculum program is organized around themes, such 'All about Me' or 'Insects Everywhere' that integrate knowledge across different subject areas.
Kindergarten Program
Our experienced state certified teachers create curriculum that is adapted to fit the needs of the spectrum of students in the classroom. Teachers provide opportunities for one-to-one instruction and small group learning using structured activities. There is also group activities, such as Morning Meeting, during the day, as well as free-choice time where children get to explore different learning areas of the classroom based on their interests. |
