Description:
Hello and welcome to Warm Fuzzies Home Daycare! I have one opening for a child age 1 - 12 years. I offer a wonderful pre-school program for children ages 2 to 5 years of age. It is called "FireFlies" and can be found at www.funshineexpress.com. The program is not mandatory but is free to you if you enroll for a minimum of 5 part time or 4 full time days. Otherwise the cost is very minimal at around $12-$15 per month. Besides the formal pre-school program I also do a daily "circle time" and use flash cards with ALL children (including toddlers). Having worked at a formal pre-school center before doing home daycare, I do have over 12 college ECE units and am considered a fully qualified pre-school teacher. I am a member of the Manteca Childcare Group which is a group of home daycare providers who meet once every other month. We have quest speakers at our meetings and offer support in any way we can to each other. I use them to sub for me when I go on vacation or what not. I have only one spot left in my daycare and am looking for a child who will arrive no early than 7:30 am and will be picked up by 5:15 pm. I cannot do late evening, or weekend care. I have a wonderful playroom full of toys and keep my daycare children busy with various activities. My rates are very reasonable and I do accept subsidized care. Your child will be sent home with a daily report each day. I do this for children who have not yet entered the public school system. The daily report is more detailed for infants and becomes more general as your child gets older. The daily report lets you know when they've been changed (or used the potty), what they ate during the day, when they napped, and there is a place for comments/notes. I also send home monthly/bi monthly newsletters just to touch bases with everyone and let you know what's going on within the daycare. I absolutely love working with children. As a mother myself, I know how important it is to find the perfect daycare for your child. You will have the security and peace of mind knowing that you've left your child in a loving, nurturing, and learning environment when you leave them in my care.
