WELCOME!!! to Kym's Little Creations is a Accredited Childcare homebased that is owned and operated by myself(Karen Y. Mitchell). As a Professional Early Childhood Educator, I provide high quality childcare to my children ranging from 6 weeks to 4 years old.

She holds her CDA which means (Child Development Associate) her program is now National Credentialed.
She also holds her NAFCC Accreditation. Which means (National Association Family Child Care) her childcare has been accredited and have met the highest standards of quality for the family care profession by successfully completing the accreditation process.
She has also successfully completed all requirements as a teacher in the High/Scope Educational Approach for both Infants/Toddlers and Preschooler in a group setting. She has demonstrated and implemented the curriculum in her program.

(5) To ensure a well-run, purposeful program responsive to participant needs.
(6) To maintain a commitment to professionalism. These are the most important goals I've learned in my CDA (Child Development Associate) class.
I also provide an educational program that promotes learning through hands-on play, discovery and the curriculum I offer is also aged approprate. I've also learned the best way a child learn is through play.
My goal as a Early Childhood Educator is to prepare your child/ren for the next level. The State of Maryland have given me a guideline of the five (5) most important areas to work with you child/ren and that your child needs to know once they leave Kym's Little Creations. They are as follow :
(1) Fine Motor Skills
(2) Gross Motor Skills
(3) Self-help Skills
(4) Reading Readiness and
(5) Math Readiness.
My daycare is a very clean, loving, intaractive, and nurturing environment for your child/ren. I also provide breakfast, lunch and (2) snacks. I also have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of outdoor toys.
