Biography of Megan Cannon -

| My name is Megan and I'm 24 years old. I've been married since October 15, 2005. After my husband and I got married we talked about a new career path for me. When we sat down and talked about our future family, we both felt very strongly that it would be best if I am able to stay in our home with our children. As we came to that conclusion...ZippityDooDah Daycare was created! I have had my lisence since September 2006. I did not have any prior training other then babysitting before I opened my daycare, but I do attend monthly training workshops as well as confrences and other training tools to further my childcare education. I am also CPR and Health & Safety certified. You can be certain that your children will feel very loved and welcomed in my home. One thing that is HUGE in my daycare are manners. I hold them in a very high regard and teach the children to use them both at ZippityDooDah and at home.
***A Little About Me***
I was raised in Lincoln and moved to Rocklin when I got married.
My husband and I are both very active people! We both ride dirt bikes, love camping, hiking and anything that has to do with the outdoors. I am a huge nature lover! Plants and animals, (animals especially), are very dear to my heart. I really love teaching the children about nature and how important it is in our lives. I have 2 dogs and a cat that come in the house. All 3 are very sweet. My cat is outside most of the day. The 2 dogs come in and out during the day. The older children love to play with them, and the dogs love to play back! When there are small children playing on the floor, the dogs hang out outside. My animals are wonderful with children and I think that interaction between children and animals is very important! Thank you for taking the time to check us out...we hope to hear from you soon! |
