Our Story:
Hello, my name is Heather. I am Wee Excel's Owner/Director. I had my first job working with children in 1996 at Child Time. When I went to college at OU I worked at Goodison Child Care Center in Rochester Hills. I then transferred to CMU and received my BA degree in Child Development while working at Wee Care Child Care. After graduating I opened up my own licensed in-home day care. After my husband graduated we moved back home. My husband started working as a science teacher and I took a position at Kindercare. I finally got my opportunity to purchase my own center in 2006. I was the director at Wee Excel and the owners were selling. It took a while, but we finally took over ownership in August of 2007. Since then my husband, the staff and I have worked hard to create a great curriculum and wonderful learning environment. As mentioned before, I have my BA in Child Development. My husband has his BS in Physical Science and a MA in Education. Our staff is highly qualified. Please call (586) 776-4100 to become part of "Our Story". Walk-ins are always welcome.
