Description:
Journeys Through Learning Child Care offers quality family child care in a nurturing home environment. I have been involved in the child care profession for over twenty years, including center and home based care, in addition to raising my own children. My positions have included child development assistant, senior staff and group leader. I have worked in classroom settings, with families in residential treatment, special needs students and developmentally delayed children. My facility is fully licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education. I am also trained in CPR/First Aid. A variety of activities are offered daily including art, group games, circle time and outdoor play as well as a preschool curriculum. It is my goal to provide quality care and make each child's time spent with me an educational, loving and positive experience.
