Description:
I formerly taught as a classroom teacher in NYC Department of Education from grades K-7for 5 years. I possess a BS Degree in Business, and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently a Maryland State Credentialed Child Care Provider, and possess certification in CPR and First Aid. I specialize in providing optimal child care services to children, ages newborn to 12 years. I encourage a risk-free approach to learning that is performance based, and will adequately prepare each child enrolled in my program for entrance into kindergarten. I prepare lesson plans daily & weekly to support the program's goals for the curriculum provided to the children. Some subjects taught entail the following: Community, Dinosaurs, Family, Socialization skills, toilet training, alphabet & numbers to name a few.
