TINY BEARS DAY CARE HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 10 YEARS. WE HAVE MOTHERS AND GRANDMOTHERS ON OUR STAFF. THE OWNER IS THE MOTHER OF FOUR GROWN CHILDREN AND THE GRANDMOTHER OF THREE. SHE IS ALSO ON THE ADVISORY BOARD AT OAKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR EARLY EDUCATION. WE ARE STATE LICENSED FOR 12 CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF NEWBORN AND 5 YEARS.

OUR LEARNING PROGRAM IS BASED ON FUN AND GAMES. ALL LESSONS ARE GAME BASED. WE HAVE COMPUTER TIME FOR AGES 3 & UP. WE ALSO TEACH LETTERS, NUMBERS, COLORS, SHAPES, MUSIC, STORIES, PRINTING, CRAFTS, AND MUCH MORE!! WE HAVE DAILY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN THE LARGE FENCED YARD. THERE IS A LARGE SWING SET AND SAND BOX WAITING!! MEALS AND SNACKS ARE PROVIDED DAILY.

My daughters have been attending Tiny Bears Daycare since 1998. After trying out several daycares for my premature daughter, I was referred to Roseanne by a colleague at work. Once I met with Roseanna, and saw the daycare, I knew this was the place for my children. My children are now 8 and 5, with my last one moving out of daycare and into school this fall. It’s hard to leave such a great place, but we will certainly still keep in touch. Roseanne has been a great partner in helping make my children the beautiful, well behaved, and good children they have turned out to be. I can’t say enough about our great experience with Tiny Bears Daycare other than if I ever have more – I know exactly where they will be!

Two years ago I found myself having to go back to work full time. At the time my son was 1 year-old and I was absolutely heartsick over having to leave him. A friend of mine recommended Tiny Bears to me and Roseanna King has been the answer to my prayers! Tiny Bears is a cozy, loving, nurturing environment where my son knows he is loved and cared for just like his father and I love him at home! Roseanna makes each child feel special for his/her own uniqueness. Roseanna provides nutritious breakfasts and lunches each day and gets the kids excited to eat and try new food! My son has been with Roseanna for two years. He is now 3 years old and knows all his colors, can count to the mid-twenties, recoginzes all of the letters of the alphabet, knows what sound each letter makes and absolutely loves to learn! This is due to the learning environment at Tiny Bears. Roseanna makes learning a part of each child’s day no matter their age, and the kids absolutely love learning! Tiny Bears has made my going back to work a much better experience because of the love and one-on-one attention I know my son receives each day. I highly recommend Roseanna and her wonderful staff to anyone who is looking for a safe, healthy and positive daycare. Thank you Roseanna for loving Leo just like he was one of your own.
